What new classes and races do you want to see?

We know that there are only 1 race and 3 classes so far, but all of us expect more races and classes:

For me:

Races - Elf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Orc, Kamael(I hope there are more races instead of only humans).

Classes -

1 - Necromancer(summons and curses, like wich doctor in Diablo 3)
2 - Assassin(stealth class can't miss in any RPG)
3 - Druid(depending on what build you want, it can be a mage or a shapeshifter class, like feral duids in WoW and Diablo 2).

And you guys, what do you want?

Well they presented only 3 classes Knight, Mage and Spirit Archer. Since L2 is prequiel to L1 and Eternal is sequel to L1 im not sure if we will have any Dark Elves or Orcs aboard.

Yes there is no orc in L1 and Kamaels were sealed by Gran Kain after Shilen is defeated in L2. But there is no reason to not have Dark Elves and elves in Eternal(I don't know how is the current lore of L1 in Korea, but DEs and Elves are there yet). If you look at the gameplay of Eternal there are lots of orcs(mobs) so I still hope for the return of orcs as a playable race in LE.

..before they shut down the servers here.... you had "Mage / Knight / Royal / Elf / Dark Elf / Dragon Knight / Illusionist". I hope quite simple that they do not do the whole race/class. That was one of the many reason why L1 was great. You just picked what you wanted to be and added stats points ( Str / Dex / Int / Wis / etc.etc. ) and pretty much "built" it around a particular playstyle. One of the many flaws in games is the ones they limit you to race/class. If they stay true to the L1 series, they'll do the same thing again, and skip all the garbage like what Blizzard does.

as far as i remember the class/race was greatly indifferent in l2. It was like Dark Elf archer had higher crit damage and Elven Archers had higher crit chance with less dmg + some running speed bonus. I rly hope it will be Classes this time, not races.

Im not ware of lineage lore, but it was so bizzare having orc charcter killing generic orc mobs around the cities of aden......

I actually hope it's just the same classes as Lineage 1 started with, of Prince, Knight, Mage, Elf Archer, and later they added Dark Elf. Lineage 2 had a huge number of classes and it was still fun, but there was something really cool about having stark distinctions of only 5 roles, and having the Prince being the only one who could create a clan. I actually would be fine if they reinstated that, too. Princes were played by a certain type of person and they put everything into their guilds. If Lineage Eternal keeps that same focus, however they plan on going about it, I expect it to be a very good game.

just hope theres no 'designed to be boxed' classes like lin2... that was one of the main things they changed from lin1 -> lin2. That, making (virtually) all gear from crafting and making gear extreemly generic (tiers vice variety) were what killed L2 for me in its early days (albeit i did/do still play L2 off and on every year or so for a month or two)

Yes, I agree, if there is something I hate in L2 is its "designed to be boxed" classes, as devs said, there will be 5-6 classes when the game begins, I doubt there will be a class like this, it will be more like Lineage 1, but with something new, inspired in games like Guild Wars 2, where there is no buffer-healer classes.
